In an industry such as roofing where the perception of contractors is overwhelmingly negative, a professional, welcoming and warm brand is needed to help establish trust and reliability. Moving away from a generic roofing mark, Skyland's rebrand strived to represent the family friendly values of the founder and connect deeper with value driven property-owners.

Bringing Warmth to a Cold Industry

Skyland's unique values is derived largely in part by their founder Vanessa. As a woman in a male dominated industry she brings a fresh, friendly and personable approach that has allowed her to connect deeper with her clients. The rebrand would be an opportunity to differentiate her company from typical "Chuck in a truck" contractor.

The icon consists of a simple dove icon. Its simple construction with gentle curves makes this mark strong and easily recognizable while still being friendly. Its upward trajectory visually conveys a sense of hope and growth.
